The Purcell Rooms passionate about colouring our client’s hair. With the technical know how to solve any problems put in front of us and ability to produce chic new effects and trends.

For your conveniance you can assess yourself to see if it is necesscary to skin test before your colouring service.

1. Have you ever had an allergic reaction to any hair colourant product.

2. Have you ever had an allergic reaction to any type of skin tattoo including henna or to permenant make-up?

3. Do you have sensitive , itchy or dmamged scalp? (e.g suffer from eczema or psoriasis)

4. Are you currently taking any medication to treat allergies?

If you answer yes to any of the above (1-4) we cannot colour your hair until you first take advice from your doctor

5.Are you a new client to the salon or are we intending on using different brand or shade?

6. Has it been more than six months since your last colour was applied within the salon?

7.Is it more than 12 months since your last skin allergy test?

8. Have you had any type of skin tattoo including henna or permenant make-up since your last colour service?

9. Have you had any allergic reaction to any products since your last colour service?

If you answer yes to questions 5-9 then you must hace an allergy test 48 hours before your colour can be applied.  

We are proud to anounce that Michael was sucessful in completing his master colour expert award after two years, three courses, four exams and a huge project. He is one of only a few in a 30mile radius of the salon. Colour consultations with Michael  are £10 which is redeemable from any colour services provided within a six week period from your consultation.

Any additional colours will be charged at £8.00, once we have used more than 15ml of each additional colour.
